Passed away on January 6, 2010 in Orange, California shortly after being diagnosed with lymphoma. She was the daughter of Robert and Flora White, and was born in Long Beach on November 12, 1943. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dwight Norman, daughters Stacy Maxin and Julia Moore, son Timothy Norman, son-in-laws, Ed Maxin and Max Moore, daughter-in-law Angela Norman and 8 grandchildren.

Annabelle grew up in Norwalk and graduated from Excelsior High School in 1961. She moved to Hemet in 1972 and worked at Von’s supermarket for 28 years before she retired in 2001. She and her husband moved to Murrieta in 1992.

Annabelle loved to travel, was an avid reader of mystery books and she especially enjoyed playing the Pot of Gold keno machine at the area casinos. A pet lover with four dogs, Annabelle could be seen walking at least some of them every day around the neighborhood. She attended the Cornerstone Community Church in Wildomar, where she volunteered to care for the children in the nursery.

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made to the Animal Friends of the Valley, 33751 Mission Trail, Wildomar, CA 92595.

Entrusted to the care of McWane Family Funeral Home.
