Catalina Rivas de Ramos, age 76, of San Jacinto, California, for 28 years, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Hemet, Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California. Catalina was born February 13, 1933 in Tonacatepequen, El Salvador, she was the daughter of Gregorio Rivas and Casimira Ansora. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband Ernesto Ramos Hernandez; five daughters, Ana G, Elias, Sonia Elias, Maribel Elias, Rosa Elias and Carmen Elias; three sons, Jaime Elias, Jose Rivas and Alonzo Elias; two sister, Francisca and Jesus Rivas; two brother, Ruben Elias and Humberto Rivas and 35 grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in San Jacinto with a memorial mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
