Connie Lynn Leyh
December 22, 1946 - August 10, 2021
Connie Lynn Leyh was born December 22, 1946. She married her beloved husband Robert Andrew Leyh aka Bob, December 14, 1967 in the state of Delaware. They were married for 43 years. When Connie graduated high school she joined the Army and served four years and fought in the Vietnam War. Connie survived the war but did not forget. She went on to work as a waitress and later worked as a bank teller. Although Connie and Bob had no children they loved their dogs just as much, John Paul aka JP, Peaches, and Annie. Connie alongside her husband moved to California where they live the rest of their lives in the city of Hemet. They both enjoyed their beautiful home full of antiques and wonderful memories. Connie’s hobbies included watching her favorite show “In the heat of the night”, knitting, painting, visiting with friends and especially shopping. Connie traveled the world with her husband and even had a chance to visit the Vatican where they met Saint John Paul II. Sadly Bob passed away a year before Connie. They are now both reunited and walking alongside each other. They will be deeply missed. Although Connie didn’t have much family she will be survived by many who considered her family, her dear friends Chuck and Franie, her dog Annie, and her caregivers.
