Maria Castellanos

August 29, 1930 - March 29, 2018

In the hands of the Lord, Maria Socorro Castellanos a resident of San Jacinto, California for the past fifty years, passed away while visiting her brother Juan Manuel Zavala in Mexicali, Mexico on Thursday March 29, 2018. Maria was born on August 29th, 1930 in Norwalk, California to her late father Trinidad Zavala and her late mother Mercedes Valencia. Maria was survived by her wonderful and loving daughters, Griselda Nicholl (James), Blanca Ibanez (Raul), Sandra Cruz (Jessie), Gloria Reyes, Jenny Vasquez, and her amazing brother Juan Manuel Zavala. Maria is survived by nineteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Maria was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Agustin Castellanos and her four sons, Agustin Castellanos, Juan Manuel Castellanos, Ernesto Castellanos, and Alexander Castellanos. Maria was an amazing mother, wife, grandmother and friend who will be deeply and sorely missed by her loving friends and family.
